Niporn Neak is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer with more than 16 years of experience in the financial services sector, specializing in strategic financial transformation, regulatory compliance, and risk management across Southeast Asia.
He has built a distinguished career in the banking and microfinance industry, most notably serving as Head of Finance at LOLC Cambodia, one of the country’s leading deposit‑taking microfinance institutions. Throughout his career, Niporn has led high‑impact initiatives in financial strategy, Financial Modeling, asset–liability management, and corporate governance, contributing to sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Niporn currently serves as CFO at BOPA, where he oversees financial management, risk oversight, and internal control frameworks. Based in Phnom Penh, he plays an active governance role by participating in audit and risk committees across BOPA’s portfolio companies in Cambodia and Timor-Leste, supporting robust financial stewardship and compliance.
He is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with CPA Australia (Credential ID: 10956326) and holds a MBA in Financial Management as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance. He also participated in several trainings at the Boulder Institute of Microfinance for risk and management concentration, Corporate Governance (CG) in the banking sector entitled by IFC.
